The designing policy of "Typos" is drastically different from those of other typefaces; the characteristics of brush writing, such as "Hane" and "Tsunagi"(connection part of two different strokes), are minimized to produce modern impression, and the position of horizontal and vertical lines are arranged to be align the centers of gravity. As a result, the composition is trimmed and beautiful like Roman typesetting.
